The Clayton County Ministers' Conference and Clayton County Sheriff Chaplain's Office will co-host the 2010 Annual Clayton County Sheriff's Minister's Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, January 7, 2010. The Annual Prayer Breakfast Program will be held at the cafeteria located on the 2nd floor of the Sheriff's office in the Harold R. Banke Justice Center, 91 57 Tara Boulevard in Jonesboro. The program is slated to begin at 8:00am. Breakfast is Free and open to all ministers/pastors in Clayton County. The breakfast will offer an opportunity to fellowship, pray for our community in the New Year and hear from Sheriff Kem Kimbrough. Oct 1st - Feb 23rd, 2010 Documented Rights Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the National Archives. The National Archives at Atlanta features more than 80 documents, images, photographs and sound recordings that exemplify the depth of records in the National Archives chronicling the evolution of human and civil rights in the United States. From a slave manifest dated 1844 to the five cases that compromised the 1984 Brown v Board of Education decision, the exhibit gives voice to those who fought for or championed personal rights and freedoms. Each of the exhibits five historic theaters features a signature personality and thematic song intended to evoke the memories, longing and challenges of the time. FREE ADMISSION.
